CFFPLUS-UNMC DTP
CFF-UNMC DTP is an integrated 39 months programme that provides PhD/MRes students with a training programme in the research and development of underutilised crops for future agriculture.

The DTP training is designed to develop independent, trained, employable researchers working to overcome limitations and provide opportunities for developing underutilised species into new crops, new products and provide new approaches to global food security.

CFF-UNMC DTP is focused on training the next generation of scientists to tackle one of the most important challenges facing the world today – the way that world agriculture works and how do we make it more sustainable, more productive and help to ensure that future generations have options for food, fuel and materials.

CFF-UNMC DTP offers training and professional skills courses as well as preparatory training for students who are interested in teaching.

Beyond normal PhD?...
Researcher Development Programmes (RDP)-  a program exclusively developed for postgraduate students through the Graduate School, and is open for all disciplines. The RDP workshops follow themes based on the stage of the research degree (Early, Mid and Late) and provide a wide range of generic and professional skills courses

Postgraduate Students Teachers Programme (PST)- the PST program, also offered by the Graduate School, provides preparatory training for students who are interested in teaching and an academic career

University of Nottingham Module Catalogue - made available to DTP students with relevant modules drawn from both undergraduate and post-graduate courses. Appropriate modules can be discussed with supervisory teams and taken (available places permitting)
